Sheba was recommended to me by a friend who's had a very good experience. I've got natural curly hair, which ima very protective of, due to bad experience before at a salon. Sheba was very attentive and took the time to listen to my concerns, as well as my criteria of how i wanted my hair to be treated. She made sure that I was well informed of the process before she did anything to my hair and also kept me informed through out. She trimmed my hair and gave me a blow out. Which I was very happy with. I would most definitely return to Sheba's salon and recommend her to family and friends.

I was recommended to visit Sheba Hair salon by my friend. I needed a hairdresser to give good care to my natural hair. i have had difficulties finding a good hair salon to provide good treatment to my natural hair. Sheba was very lovely, welcoming and understanding of my hair. I was attended to quickly. The salon was easy to find and simple designed. The staff were welcoming and i was welcomed with tea and treats. Sheba gave me a detox treatment, blowdry and honestly it was the best treatment i have ever had for my hair!! My hair is still feeling soft and after my blowdry it was nice and bouncy. I went to an event after my visit to sheba salon and my hair remained. i received lots of compliments too and my hair still feels amazing. Thus I will definitely will be coming back to Sheba hair salon. I am glad to have been recommended to Sheba. I find that in London it is difficult to find a hairdresser who will understand your hair and provide good care and service. I definitely recommend sheba hair salon for natural hair treatment.

(visit11th Jan 2018) Sheba hair salon is getting a 1 star because for a highly rated salon that claims to be able to manage and maintain natural hair well, their stylist missed the mark. As a side note this was my first visit as my usual hair salon was not available. After reading reviews I went in to have my long, natural, healthy coils straightened for the first time in a year. Which I mentioned to the hairstylist. I have been very hesitant to straighten my hair because of fear of heat damage but was going on holiday and needed to be able to manage my hair easily without my usual tools and products (something I’ve done in the past). The hairdresser deceptively made it appear as if he knew how to look after my natural hair - but after the shampoo things went south. The hairdresser put me under the hooded dryer which I assumed was to do a complimentary treatment, after some time I realised that this was his version of a blow dry. I was put out and should have stopped the appointment then and there, unfortunately I was heading for the airport after so stupidly chose to continue. I repeatedly asked the hairdresser to use heat protector which he was very hesitant to do. The hairdresser then started prepping me to have my hair straightened... ...and proceeded to pull out an actual hot iron comb that you put on the hob!!! I mean wtf?!! I had a bad feeling about it but I was like how much damage can he do? I’ll only let him pass it though my hair a couple times. This guy actually wanted to straighten it twice and tong it, which I refused. It was only 85% in to my hair being fully done that he mentioned that he had added oils to my hair after it had been washed. The feeling of instead dread filled me - my hair is extremely thick and has withstood occasional heat well in the past - but what hair can withstand being coated in oil and then straightened. This dreaded feeling stayed with me throughout my holiday. I washed my hair when I got back and many parts didn’t revert, its lifeless, dry, straw like, the curls are dead and damaged and I will have to cut bra strap length hair to ear length if I’m lucky. The hairdresser saw and praised my natural hair then proceeded to murder it to make it look ‘European straight’ as he put it. He didn’t listen to my concerns throughout the appointment and has caused damage across the entire hair strand - I might as well have got my hair relaxed. I would never recommend this salon.
